Thinking Forward: The BFI Idea Index

When filtering through the news of the day in search of some sense of truth it is understandable for the reader to feel overwhelmed by what we perceive as immense challenges. However hard it may seem, we can focus on and achieve innovative and sustainable solutions. At Real Cool Times we aim to promote and engage with progressive thinkers, artists, designers, social theorists, and policy makers. And so we are pleased to open our new feature series Thinking Forward with The Buckminster Fuller Institute Idea Index

In the spirt of Fuller’s work, the BFI Idea Index serves multiple purposes. Functioning as an educational tool, an interactive network, a fundraising platform, and a hatching ground for global solutions; the Index actively refines and maximizes the potential benefit of the ideas it is comprised of. Please explore the index and contribute if you are able to with thoughts and/or funds.

A Brief Letter To Dick Cheney

Dear Dick,

Congratulations on your new heart. As you were helping to plan the last decade of senseless warfare that ended so many lives I’ll bet you never thought you’d get a bonus heart when yours crapped out. Crazy world, huh?

Don’t Shoot,

L. Beau Rubber
